# Campus Rink — Real player and game data

Saved September 10, 2026. Player profiles and records describe **2025–26**, the latest completed season. The schedule also includes published **2026–27** fixtures. These season files are local snapshots. Scores now use a separate public NCAA connection; see LIVE-SCORES.md. Transfer Portal and Recruiting also have their own public-source refreshes. These files do not establish current professional contracts or a live roster feed.

## Imported coverage

| Competition | Team entries | Player entries | Published roster entries | Draft results | 2025–26 final results | 2026–27 fixtures |
| --- | ---: | ---: | ---: | ---: | ---: | ---: |
| Men’s D1 | 63 | 1783 | 1771 | 270 | 1206 | 1002 |
| Women’s DI / National Collegiate | 45 | 1121 | 1121 | 58 | 826 | 713 |
| Men’s DIII | 91 | 710 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| Women’s DIII | 79 | 569 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |

The directory contains 4,183 player-season-team entries. Men’s and women’s D1 roster reports cover all 108 programs present in the imported 2025–26 national statistics (63 men’s, 45 women’s). Twelve additional D1 player entries appear in statistical reports but not in the imported roster tables. Division III entries are from NCAA qualifying statistical reports, not complete rosters. Of 278 team entries, 255 have an overall W–L–T record in the NCAA report; the remaining entries retain missing records rather than assuming zero wins.

Division II and club rosters, game schedules and standings are not imported. Scouting rankings are not imported. Missing fields are not filled with demo values. The original fictional players, game generator and fabricated standings have been removed from the main app.

## Player statistics and biographies

- [Women’s 2025–26 national scoring](https://collegehockeyinc.com/women/national/natplayer26.php)

College Hockey Inc. roster reports supply the published name, uniform number, class, position, height, hometown and previous team where available. Men’s roster reports also supply weight, birth year and some NHL draft fields. Bio prose is a short summary generated only from those factual fields; it does not copy a school’s narrative biography. Every profile links its roster, statistical and career sources when available. Career links may show a later roster; the local profile retains its 2025–26 roster facts.

All 108 roster report URLs are included in `real-data-manifest.json` and on individual profiles. Roster headings were checked against the requested school and season. Seven initially discovered career links pointed to later transfer destinations; the correct 2025–26 school roster was retrieved instead.

Player statistics retain the values published by their report. D1 profiles include the full available scoring table and goalie report, rather than only the NCAA qualifying list. Goalie lists can include tiny samples. Unreported minutes or other fields remain absent; GP is not used to invent ice time. Skater points were checked against goals plus assists. Division III profiles use fields from their linked NCAA qualifying reports; source links accompany additional category metrics.

The separate Stats leaders and Leagues pages continue to use the existing NCAA statistical reports, which can have different reporting cutoffs or corrections from College Hockey Inc. Current-season player names link to matching directory profiles. Four damaged character sequences in NCAA names are mapped to the corresponding roster spellings for those links: Jan Špunar, Václav Nestrašil, Adéla Šapovalivová and Anežka Čabelová. No numeric statistics are changed by that mapping.

See [STATS-SOURCES.md](STATS-SOURCES.md) for the national and historical NCAA tables, and [LEAGUES-SOURCES.md](LEAGUES-SOURCES.md) for conference standings and season membership.

## Draft results

NHL roster draft fields are supplemented with [College Hockey News NCAA draft history](https://www.collegehockeynews.com/almanac/draft-history.php?year=2026), covering draft years 2020–2026. Joins require both a normalized player name and the same college. The original drafting team is retained, including historical team identities. Where the roster supplies only year, team and round, the overall pick remains unavailable.

Women’s results come from the [official PWHL 2026 draft report](https://www.thepwhl.com/en/draft). Fifty-eight results match players in the imported directory. Tory Mariano’s listed college did not match an imported season player, so that row was not attached to someone else. Name variants Katie / Katelyn DeSa and Caroline / Caroline “KK” Harvey are reconciled with the same school. Draft results may be later than the college season and do not establish current NHL/PWHL rights, roster assignment or a signed contract.

NHL drafting-team logos load from the NHL asset host and have initials as a fallback. PWHL drafting teams use labeled initials; official PWHL logo assets have not been imported. Existing college and conference logo coverage is described in [LOGO-SOURCES.md](LOGO-SOURCES.md).

Elite Prospects public search results were checked as a reference, but automated profile and draft-page downloads returned access-denied responses. No protected content or scouting ranking lists were imported. HockeyDB has not supplied a connected data feed. Missing draft or ranking information does not mean a player is undrafted or ineligible.

## Scores and schedules

- [Women’s 2025–26 composite results](https://collegehockeyinc.com/women/compnatfull26.php)
- [Men’s 2026–27 published schedule](https://collegehockeyinc.com/men/compnatfull27.php)
- [Women’s 2026–27 published schedule](https://collegehockeyinc.com/women/compnatfull27.php)

Dates, opponents, home/neutral markers, scores, overtime labels, event descriptions, notes and source links are preserved. Exhibition games and opponents outside D1 remain labeled in the game reports. They are not used to recompute team records. Upcoming game scores remain blank; unspecified times stay unavailable. Times are shown as published without time-zone conversion. Box-score and game-page links are exposed where supplied; period scores and play-by-play are not invented.

Scores defaults to the latest imported result date. Schedule defaults to all published 2026–27 fixtures. Both support season/date selection, search, favorite-team filtering and loading more results.

## Verification and remaining boundaries

Checks cover unique player/team/game IDs; player-to-team links; all roster school/season headings; goals + assists = points; draft years/rounds and school joins; valid scores and dates; real-player dialogs; search, team and favorite filters; missing-data states; and links from NCAA leaderboards to the player directory. Existing History, Stats leaders, Leagues and simulation checks were also run.

The app remains local and account-free. Existing favorite IDs are migrated by school name and competition; they are not reassigned to a different team. Legacy favorites are backed up locally under college-ice-favorites-before-real-data before migration; unsupported teams are omitted from the active real-data picker. Simulation and poll datasets keep their separately dated historical inputs. The contributor directory remains a fictional local demonstration. A live sports feed, continuously updated rosters, licensed scouting data, full DIII rosters, and DII/club imports are not connected.
