# Campus Rink — League sources and coverage

Checked September 10, 2026. The Leagues section uses saved **2025–26** standings and season membership. These reports work locally and do not refresh live. Upcoming 2026–27 realignments are not applied to the completed season.

## Standings

Six men’s Division I conferences (58 member teams) and five women’s Division I / National Collegiate conferences (45 teams) are included. Independents are outside conference standings. DIII, DII and club conference tables are not imported.

Conference games, points, W–L–T, goals for/against, overtime wins/losses, shootout wins and overall records are transcribed from the linked reports. Goal difference is calculated as conference GF minus GA. Display order follows each report; it is not a calculated playoff seed. Original points, including fractional totals in women’s ECAC Hockey, are preserved without recomputing the conference’s rules. Overall records and NCAA statistics may have different reporting cutoffs. WCHA points percentage is not imported.

## League stat leaders

The existing 2025–26 NCAA qualifying leaderboards are filtered to the teams listed in each conference’s 2025–26 standings. These are **full-season statistics for league members**, including non-conference and postseason games, not conference-only game statistics. Separate groups cover skaters, goalies and teams. There are 286 conference/category combinations.

Each category retains its NCAA source URL, through-games date, original national ranks, notes and qualifying entries. Missing or tied rank fields remain a dash. Summary cards show the first listed league member in that NCAA category; they cover the whole league even when a team/search filter narrows the table. Per-game categories rank by average, not total production. Sorting reorders only the available qualifying entries and does not recalculate an official league rank. An empty filter is not a zero statistical total.

School abbreviations are normalized to match the NCAA records and conference membership (for example, Lake Superior → Lake Superior State, Massachusetts → UMass, Long Island → LIU, and RPI → Rensselaer). Membership is scoped by both season and men’s/women’s competition: St. Thomas men are in CCHA for 2025–26; St. Thomas women are in WCHA.

## Local files and verification

`leagues-data.json` / `leagues-data.js` hold the source snapshots; `leagues.js` provides the page and membership filters; `leagues.css` follows the Campus Rink color/theme variables. The Leagues page is linked in the main navigation and from the overview’s conference logo buttons. `#leagues` opens the section directly.

Validation checks all 103 memberships against NCAA team reports, all 286 category views, conference and overall record arithmetic, fractional points, school aliases, preserved national ranks, search/team filters and unavailable-level states. Existing History and Stats leaders checks also pass. Browser checks cover conference switching, men’s/women’s switching, goalie filters, team-to-stat navigation and console errors.
